For Renee Mueller, owner of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Premier Real Estate, the passion for real estate and development started at an early age. With her dad as her biggest supporter to look outside the conventional box, she was driven to work as hard as she could. As she gained strength and confidence through the adversities of life, she knew she wanted to help others do the same by achieving home ownership. Renee finds immense enjoyment in the limitless opportunities that her business has, knowing that the only boundaries that exist are the ones she puts on herself.
Renee has worked in the Real Estate business for the past nineteen years. Following high school, Renee attended the University of Nebraska-Omaha, studying hotel management with an emphasis in marketing. She had her sights set on owning a hotel one day, but at the age of nineteen she opted to begin investing in real estate and things took off from there. With the opening of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Premier Real Estate here in Columbus and the construction of her new building Parkway Plaza along Lost Creek Parkway, things are really taking off for the self-made entrepreneur. The decision to go with Berkshire Hathaway was an easy choice for Renee.
The multi-national holding company, owned and run by Warren Buffet, not only boasted a strong name across the country, but also has deep Nebraska roots that mean everything to the Renee. Along with moving the Real Estate Company to the new building, it will also house Big Apple Bagel and several other businesses for Columbus to enjoy. There is another two acres of land to develop where Parkway Plaza is going up, which is what Renee loves about her job…growing and developing Columbus.
Renee feels that giving back to the community that has given her so much is a vital part of life. She volunteers as much as possible, joining the Columbus Area Future Fund (CAFF) recently, as well as giving her input to the Columbus Housing Committee. She and her family are active members at Immanuel Lutheran Church and help the church and school with their annual Extravaganza fundraiser. Renee, alongside her husband Tyler, are busy raising two active kids. Cora is a seventh grader at Immanuel Lutheran School and is busy with 4H, piano lessons and several club sports teams. Maverick is a busy little four-year old that is in preschool at Immanuel Lutheran School as well. The kids are busy this time of year, helping their Grandpa Mueller harvest pumpkins for their annual sale, as well as. They love being outside, helping on the family farm or with dad at the sod farm.
As new adventures burst on the horizon for Renee and her team of twelve agents and three employees, she is certain to keep her feet grounded in the soil of Columbus, surrounded by those that have stood with her throughout the years. As Columbus continues to grow, she is looking forward to being an integral part of that progress.
