Jacey Clarey’s passion for real estate was evident from a young age. As a junior high student, she found herself glued to HGTV and browsing Zillow to look for new houses for sale. She even helped one of her older brothers search for and eventually design his own house.
As Clarey recalls, “I didn’t realize it at the time, but real estate is something I have been passionate about for a long time.” Watching her parents go through the buying and selling process sparked her interest, and she saw it as a great way to get involved with the community and work with people.
After graduating from Scotus Central Catholic, Clarey attended the University of Nebraska at Kearney, where she initially thought she would pursue a career in the health field like her brothers. But after getting more exposure to business and marketing classes, she found herself drawn to those fields. Coincidentally, after her freshman year, her parents worked with kwELITE Real Estate to sell their home and buy a new one. This gave Clarey a front-row seat to the buying-and-selling process, including how all the marketing was handled. “And I found that this process was something I was really interested in,” she said.
Clarey made the bold decision to switch her major to marketing and has never looked back. Jacey has been serving as an intern for kwELITE Real Estate since 2022, she has helped multiple social media pages, coordinate events, and even obtained her drone license to assist with photos and videos of listings.
Megan Cimpl, kwELITE C.O.O., said, “We are thrilled to have Jacey back with us due to her exceptional work ethic, willingness to go the extra mile, and her eagerness to assist with any task at hand.”
Clarey’s passion for real estate and marketing have impressed not only her employer but also her father, who believes that the sky’s the limit for his daughter. Clarey’s enthusiasm for life extends beyond her work as she enjoys spending time with her loved ones, baking, and listening to country music.
Looking to the future, Clarey sees Columbus, her hometown, as a place where she can make a positive impact while working towards success and a good future. She values the community’s support and opportunities and hopes to stay close to family and friends while doing what makes her the happiest.
