Q: How Is the Columbus Market Doing?

Here’s a quick update on our real estate market.

Nebraska was one of the few states that didn’t implement a shelter-in-place order. We’re very fortunate that real estate has been deemed essential in our state so we’re still helping buyers and sellers right now.

If you look at the stats compared to this time last year, our sales are up about 12%, which is great, but our listings are way down. We started this pandemic with a housing shortage, and I believe it’s only going to be more severe once restrictions are lifted.

The market is still moving and we’re still hustling.

In the meantime, we’re taking every necessary step to ensure our clients’ safety. We’re providing gloves, masks, sanitizing surfaces, and washing hands when we see homes in person.

Anyone who is looking to purchase new construction homes in our community is in luck. Homes are continuing to be built and projects are on-going.

In conclusion, the market is still moving and we’re still hustling. If you need to buy or sell or if you have any real estate-related questions, don’t hesitate to reach out via phone or email.
